Vyral - AI-Powered Short-Form Video Generator SaaS Platform Changelog
Changelog v1.0.9
- Fixed one-click updates (Auto Update add-on) leaving the site in maintenance mode for good when the update process was stopped partway through. The watchdog that restores the backup now runs while the site is in maintenance mode
- Fixed one-click update rollbacks failing on MySQL when the database user lacks the global PROCESS privilege, because an error message was being written into the database backup. A backup that was cut short is now also rejected before the update goes ahead
- Fixed one-click update rollbacks failing on MySQL servers with GTID enabled, as used by some managed database services
- Fixed a failed one-click update on MySQL leaving behind new database tables that made every later update fail with "table already exists"
- Fixed one-click updates on SQLite databases: the backup could miss the most recent changes, and a rollback could fail to fully restore the database
- Fixed the Updates tab staying stuck on an update in progress, with no buttons, when that update never actually started
- Improved one-click updates to check that every file can be written before anything changes. If some cannot be written (usually because files were copied in as root during a manual update), the update stops, leaves the site as it was, and shows the command that fixes the file ownership
- Improved one-click updates so that if the automatic rollback itself fails, the site stays in maintenance mode instead of serving a half-updated install, and admins get an in-app notification naming the backup to restore
- Improved one-click update error messages to include what the backup and restore tools actually reported
- Updated the documentation: the Upgrade Guide now describes the file-permission check and what happens when a rollback fails
