Webby - AI-Powered No-Code Website Builder SaaS Platform v1.2.29
Webby - AI-Powered No-Code Website Builder SaaS Platform Changelog
Changelog v1.2.29
- New Landing Themes: install, switch and manage complete landing page themes from a new Themes screen in the admin panel. Themes upload as a single package, are checked before they are installed, and an admin can preview one before making it live.
- New video section for the landing page, with a direct video upload plus YouTube and Vimeo links, and controls for autoplay, looping, sound and aspect ratio.
- The landing page builder is now module-based: each section defines its own fields, lists and settings, which the admin editor renders from that definition — so new section types (like the video section above) arrive without a separate form.
- Added an "SSL managed externally" option for custom domains, for operators who terminate HTTPS at Cloudflare or another proxy — those domains now show as Active instead of waiting forever for a certificate.
- New design guidance system for the AI site builder: it now pulls in focused playbooks on page composition, section layout, motion, safe redesigns and copy accuracy while it works.
- Design systems now carry a locked motion personality, so animation timing and easing stay consistent across a generated site.
- Added a repair command for Stripe subscription payments that were never recorded (for installs using the Stripe add-on).
- Fixed account verification and password reset emails showing the product name instead of the operator's own Site Name.
- Fixed every transactional email using the light logo even when the email header is dark.
- Fixed email bodies always being sent in English instead of the recipient's chosen language.
- Fixed the Style panel reporting "Style applied" when the rebuild behind it had actually failed — the same applied to undo, redo and restore.
- Fixed the cookie preferences window and the onboarding tour being able to make each other unclickable.
- Fixed paid plugin uploads being rejected: the uploader now accepts the plugin's own download archive.
- Fixed "Test AI Key" checking a different model than the one your builds actually use.
- Fixed the Projects list and File Manager failing with a database sorting error on accounts with large project histories.
- Fixed unpublished project previews being reachable by anyone who knew the project link.
- Fixed the installer applying a year-long browser cache to project images, previews and published site files instead of only to the app's own versioned assets.
- Fixed a question card in the chat stretching the page and breaking scrolling.
- Fixed the Code tab showing a red "Failed to load files" error on a project that had never been built.
- Fixed a failed build start leaving the prompt in the conversation, which made the next attempt behave as if the AI had already tried that approach.
- Fixed accounts with no credit allocation being shown as healthy instead of being warned they cannot build.
- Fixed the AI builder discarding a reasoning model's plan mid-build, and reporting an untouched starter template as a finished site.
- Improved the site builder's quality checks, which now catch dead "#" links even when the link tag is written across several lines.
- Improved page load speed: the default cache now uses files rather than the database, cutting database queries on a signed-in page by about three quarters.
- Improved accessibility: admin and editor toggles, filters and icon-only buttons now have names screen readers can read.
- Improved security: uploaded files are served with content sniffing disabled, and theme, plugin and template archives are size-bounded on extraction.
- Updated bundled dependencies, clearing all known security advisories at build time.
- Updated the documentation site, including new theme development guides and corrections throughout.
